  • Sunday Morning Prayer - I laid this down one Sunday morning in July 2005 after a full two days of recording in my studio in Orillia, Ontario.  The sun was coming up and burning off the morning fog, and I heard church bells in the distance.

  • Alone (but not Lonely) - This is my first multi-track recording.  In 1989 I was studying music at Humber College in Toronto, and I bought a Tascam Porta-05 4-track cassette recorder.  I was really just trying to figure the thing out.

  • The Blueshounds - Red House - Summer 1996 - Live at the Underdog in Peterborough, Ontario.  I remember starting this tune and our singer / harmonica player, Andrew Bigg, left the stage to go grab a beer at the bar.  He came back half way through the intro and yelled to me that he had to go to the can and he left again.  I was sweating by the time he got back...  Featuring John "Eagle Eye" Lewars on rhythm guitar, Andrew Taylor on bass, and Chris Chiarelli on drums.

  • Cheryl Beatty - Along for the Ride - I met Cheryl in the summer of 1997 in Peterborough, Ontario.  She was looking for a band to back her up so I volunteered the Blueshounds.  Andy Taylor and Chris Chiarelli do very tasty things on this track.  I make whale sounds and Cheryl sings and plays acoustic guitar.  This was recorded live off the floor with my 4-track cassette recorder on New Year's Day 1998.  We tried resurrecting the Cheryl Beatty Band in summer 2005, but it didn't pan out.
